I have not observed that to be true. in fact gaming reduces the will to struggle in life. it makes one burn out in many ways. that's what i have noticed.

Very true, we need to learn to try and limit ourselves with certain things.

I have not seen the gaming helping any form of the intelligence. Most of the people tend to get crazy about the gaming and have more of side effects.

Most of the gamers are politically flawed and believe in utopia. So that says it's not intelligence that increases.

I don't see the strong proof for gaming improving intelligence. It's just a matter of time that intelligence is situation based.

I think that gaming has actually been proved that it does increase the gray matter in your brain, and this would include playing board games as well. Playing these video games exercises and stretches the mind, building it stronger, so this reduces the risk of cognitive decline.

Well, that is an interesting bit of information. Didn't think gaming would really give that sort of effect.

Considering kids and the adults are both moving towards violence. So it's kind hard to say if it helps with intelligence.

Eh, I would say that with violent video games, it doesn't help increase intellect much. They are meant for fun after all.

People moving towards violence shows they are intelligent yet they are out of control. So not really helping I guess.

Yeah, it really lies in self control at the end of the day with people.
