Borderlands start sometime after the Dahl Corporation's surrender of the planet Pandora as a few fortune searchers, including the player's character, land looking for the famous Vault. In the wake of finding the town of Fyrestone, the player starts to get directions from a picture of a strange lady known as the "Watchman Angel." The player meets a "Balderdash" robot and a man named Dr. Zed who enables the player to build up notoriety by executing a few outlaw pioneers, in the end promoting the gathering of the main outsider ancient rarity expected to open the Vault. This causes Patricia Tannis, Dahl's previous prehistorian still in a home on the planet, to contact the player, uncovering that the Vault must be gotten to once like clockwork and that the season of the following opening is drawing closer. Tennis additionally clarifies that three more ancient rarities are expected to finish the Vault Key. Then, Commandant Steele of the Crimson Lance (a very much furnished hired fighter drive employed by the Atlas Corporation) undermines to pronounce military law and requests the Vault Key pieces.

I guess I never really knew all of that, and it makes a little more sense now reading it all. Kind of makes you wonder where everything actually all began.
Wow just like a good movie, a good game must have a good back story if I may say, and this one is indeed a great story to back-up a great game!
