Borderland Beat is an English dialect blog that reports news about the Mexican Drug War. The blog was begun in April 2009 by a mysterious individual utilizing the pseudonym Buggs, who remains the sole proprietor. The blog has been alluded to and cited in the New York Times, Small Wars Journal[4] and the Houston Chronicle.
