I wouldnt say rushed they just had more done than Microsoft at this time. Microsoft got the jump on Sony when the 360 came out. It took Sony about a year before they released the ps3. So I think they are trying to get the jump on everyone this time around like when Microsoft got Sony

I have yet to see the finished product or even a prototype in any of their ads. They are trying to avoid the BS apple had to deal with when some asian companies put a patent on the design of the iPhone 5. This means that they don't have the PS4 in a state where they can patent it yet, but they went ahead and announced it. I consider that rushed.

 

Oh I see...well they also said that after the presentation that it wasn't ready yet either. Lol it was disappointing but eh what can you do besides complain about it in a forum that they don't go on lol. But nonetheless they will have my money at the end of the year and well see later down the line if its any good or not

The PS4 sounds like an interesting piece of machinery, I may just have to buy one just to see what's inside for myself. I'm still gonna be sticking with my Xbox though. Though its gonna take a hell of a lot longer for the Durango to come out

 

I'm sure we will see an announcement by June. I really hope they keep the name Xbox Durango would sound badass.

 

Wouldn't it? 720 would be okay but Durango is just sick! Kinda makes me wonder if they are going to keep the live for 360 going or maybe they would just put the Durango on that network so people could still play games xbox 360 games like MW3 together even if they switched consoles... That would be awesome!

 

I see no reason for them to stop using Xbox Live. It was designed to be changed in whatever way they felt was best.

 

Not stop using it but like, if they make it to where Durango players and 360 players can't play the older games together that would be a pain. On an off note, how ticked off so you think everyone would be if the Durango couldn't play 360 games? Another question, pretty off topic but I want to know, has anyone seen the console Alienware put out a while back? Opinions on that?
