It is a sequel to the DOTA which was the original MOBA game (think HoN or LoL). DOTA was a custom game on Warcraft 3 that is still commonly played today.
Actually there are very few games that look better on the PC. PC just lets you play at a higher framerate which makes it look smoother not better. I will agree that pretty much any game is better on the PC once you get used to the feel of a keyboard and mouse and have a decent computer that it looks nice on.
I should probably clarify this a bit. Most games were designed for the console and ported to the PC. However there are games where the reverse is true meaning that they generally look better. Games with the PhysX option also look better only when PhysX is enabled.
Ok well some games, and this is my opinion, play so much better with a mouse and keyboard and others play better on a controller. Almost all fps games ill definitely recommend and try to play on pc vs ps3 while games like God of war and reckoning ill play on ps3. Lately I've been really into getting as many trophies as possible during one play through so I might end up getting it on ps3.
