Just thought I'd kick up something random. Me and my girlfriend have been switching between The Walking Dead, old episodes of House, and Scrubs is our default comic relief. Before that is was Game of Thrones...I think I might move on to Breaking Bad, I haven't watched any of that. My brother and his wife are moving through the animated nicolodian series Avatar: the Last Airbender, which I think for a modern day kids show is quite good. Anyway, discuss. Related: what is your preferred method to get your media? Mine is Netflix...discs, not streaming.
I highly recommend Breaking Bad! I usually don't get too into television shows but it's sucked me and almost everyone I know in! I use Netflix's streaming service. Love being able to watch stuff wherever I am! (Not to mention have all my friends mooch off my account).
Only ones I ever keep up with is Justified (which starts back up the 8th), Big Bang Theory, and The League.
Doesn't matter how old you are. It is actually pretty cool. The second series is pretty good too. I've been recording Castle. TNT is playing 10 episodes every Wednesday so I'm able to catch up to season 5 pretty quickly.
I enjoy The Walking Dead and Big Bang Theory. I really liked Game Of Thrones although I only seen season 1. Its not on tv anymore but I loved both seasons of Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Hell I love anything Terminator. I wished they would have continued on the story. Stargate is another gem to.
I want to start watching The Walking Dead so bad but I hate jumping into things after they've already started. I've been meaning to watch the first season but just can't find the time.
It's quite good. I thought I'd be in for a lot of hack and slash which I'd totally be down for...but what I wasn't prepared for is that it's actually quite well written and I think they're spot on with they're interpretation of human nature in an end of the world scenario...especially in the second season. You won't be disappointed with The Walking Dead.
I forgot to mention another show thats cancelled for some strange reason after only 1 season. Anybody remember FireFly. This show never received the credit it deserved.
I loved Firefly! It's on Netflix now. It was definately underrated. Nathon Fillion was awesome! I was a big fan of Joss Whedons work before that too.
