He rerolled the server. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1689753-16-vanilla-survival-ratiocraft/ thats some BS.
This always happens. I work like crazy to establish a comfortable home base, then the second I branch out to a new location... "Oh shoot, the server's gone down for good." I may join back again, but someone here should host a server :3
And I'd offer to help support one, and I just can't. Not because I'm completely broke, but pretty much all of my money is already accounted for in one way or another for things that I need right now, mostly in the form of gas to drive about the country doing graduate school music auditions. Does anyone have a spare PC? I know of a possible machine that my friend owns and we used to have a server on, but it was pretty slow and didn't support too many players at once. If anyone has an older desktop that has no better purpose in life, make a Minecraft server out of it!
Depends on the host. I used to have a server that I only paid $4 a month for 15 slots and it ran just fine.
Honestly that would be more than fine I think. If money's that tight I would be happy to pay $4/month for Minecraft like we had going.
