I just read an article online. Aparently there is a group of people in this miserable world we live in who have complained about Tiny Tina. There complaint is that the writer at Gearbox who wrote Tinas lines for the game is a racist because of how she talks. She uses phrases like badonkadonks and crunk. The writer of course denies alligations of being a rascist. I think its a crock of shit. Tina is one of the best characters in the game. What really is disturbing and pisses me off is the writer said in future dlcs Tinas dialogue would be alittle different because of all this. When I get a chance I will try to link this story to this post. This racial shit that goes on in the world is getting rediculous.
do people know the definition of a racist Racist - a person who believes in racism, the doctrine that a certain human race is superior to any or all others. (dictionary.com) no where in this does anything sugest that one race is better than the other by a 13 year old white girl in a video game saying badonkadonk. and im not trying to put this at you alien at the people who are called out gearbox about this. honestly i think these people just want o be famous so this is how they do it.
Exactly its stupid. A fictional video game character. These people use any oppurtunity they can get to yell the racsism card. But really a fictional video game character it seems there getting pretty desperate to find something to complain about.
it doesnt make sense to me. she acts like a extremely hyper 13 year old. who does say the occasional swear word but its pandora everyone does. and most 13 year olds nowadays swear anyway. i mean one of her favorite npcs in the game was roland. they were going to put it in the mission Bearer of Bad News were you had to tell her about roland and she would excuse herself and go hide in her workshop and cry uncontrollably but the makers removed it due to being very far away, it seeming "out of charecter" for her, and it being ridiculously sad
Were the people who complained about this the same group of people who hated the film adaptation of Hunger Games because cinna was black? So many people now don't understand what racism and sexism are. Notice how a vast majority of them are American? I blame our crappy schools.
It is a damn shame cause people can't quit bringing up something that happened hundreds of years ago. Racism will be around till the world ends because there are ignorant people who sit around and think what can we complain about today just to piss people off, and I gaurantee if Tina was black nothing would've been said. I'm not trying to piss anyone off but I've had to deal the whole racism issue my whole life being that I'm from the south and its gets old people need to wise up and stop trying to get there name in the news cause a fictional video game character upsets them. But the best part is whoever brought it up wouldn't have brought it up unless them themselves were a racist too. So person, whoever brought it up, congratulations, your and idiot!!!!!
Not a problem I'm 29 and I been dealing with that garbage since grade school I just laugh when I hear people taking about that crap cause they are just lettin people know how ignorant they are.
it probably the same people who made gear box change the name of the white death. anyone who has ever had a decent education on the winter war/WWII have heard of this. And even if they havent then could look at the gun say "hey that seems racist" then go online and research why it is called that and how it has nothing to do with any race.

i live in alabama and according to Huffington post we have the 47th worst public school system only in front of Louisiana west Virginia and Mississippi. and i think it is safe to say that everyone thinks alabama is one of the most racist and White supremacist states there is. maybe there is a connection
They aren't teaching the right things in school. Sure math and science are nice but where are the lessons in common courtesy and basic decency?
We learned all of our life lessons from our cartoons, we had stuff that taught us right and wrong, to tell the truth, and acceptance no matter what. We didn't have all of the learning shows thats like school at home.
