I won't be getting either for quite some time but Xbox one has definately pulled itself forward. Whether it's pulled itself in front of PS4 is still highly debatable. We will have to wait and see.
Yeah I saw that. I dont appreciate there stance on everything. When all the complaints were coming in they said "dont want to be online buy a 360" that really hurt my veiw on their business model.
Where have you seen that the PS4 has better hardware? The only difference that I have seen is that the PS4 has more RAM but doesnt use it as efficiently.

Maybe you'll be able to pick out what is what but by simply looking at it, it seems that PS4 has a more powerful system, but does that really matter anyway? They will both be playing the same, non-exclusive, games.
Memory GDDR5 8GB (GDDR5 is memory for the GPU, there is no mention of how much RAM the system has) I'm too busy laughing at this to compare them. Seriously though the specs appear to be nearly identical with neither side pulling ahead.
I am waiting for Microsoft to announce that they have pulled the Kinect from the system and it will sell at 399 and come with a headset. That being said, I already pre-ordered both....lol
Yeah, I think the Kinect 2 should be optional. It looks cool but then again, the original Kinect looked sort of cool until we played the games. That is something they absolutely can't mess up. I don't think Microsoft is out of the game yet. They might not win the next generation but they'll still be a viable player. Plus all of the launch titles for both consoles probably won't matter since neither the 360's or PS3's launch titles really held together(Except CoD). I am not going to argue hardware, because we all know that they are vastly similar but to me, Xbox has the edge with separate RAM allocated to separate processes. That is my opinion. Both look great, the only launch title that stands out is Titan Fall for X1. Sony played it safe with no legitimate new IPs. Maybe the order but there was no game play so I do not see it as credible. More and more of my friends are leaning towards the X1 now. Especially with the recently announce picture messaging function and player rep statistics. Now your rep will separate you from other players. If over time you are an obnoxious douchebag, then you will only be playing with other obnoxious douchebags. Which is great, seeing that i will only be playing in full parties and not have to worry about those situations. But the average player wont have to put up with annoying twelve year olds anymore cause there will be age specific groups.
