I thought it was pretty clever to call the game the Pre-Sequel. It's a literal explanation of what the game is, and I kind of have to appreciate that name. What do you think about the title?
It's funny. And as the user above said, it fits the satirical style of the game perfectly. I did hear some people complain about it thought. Never understood why.
People would have been far less happy if the game had been named Borderlands 1.5, that's for sure. Some people find the dumbest things to complain about, right?
Yeah, the title was pretty satirical but I think that added a little bit more character to the game. People took it too seriously and the joke went over their heads, but that's no big deal.
I like it simply for the sarcasm and satire quality; I think this name would only be able to fit with a game like Borderlands. Never quite got why people were mad about it. Borderlands is extremely sassy as a game.
I really don't understand the people who got mad about it being named the pre-sequel. It's literally a prequel to the sequel so why wouldn't pre-sequel be a good name for it. Out of everything you could comaplin about, why pick the title? I thought the title was perfect and it fit right in with Borderlands sense of humor.
It perfectly fits into the whole Borderlands sense of humor, so I wasn't even fazed by how ridiculous it sounded when I heard it. I don't lnow if I would say it's an amazing name, but it's definitely fitting.
Honestly, I really liked the name they chose and enjoyed playing through the pre-sequel. It was a nice, clever way to capture their fan's attention. If there is one thing I love about the Borderlands series, it's their witty jokes and the character's spunky attitudes. I felt like the name itself gave people an idea of what kind of game they were about to step into. When I played through the pre-sequel, it became very apparent why they named it the way they did.
