In the past couple of years a lot of new blocks of wood have been added to the game, accachia or black wood, you name it. What is your favorite type of wood? Mine has to be Oak combined with Spruce.
I think Spruch combined with Birch can produce a very modern looking building. I tend to vary up the materials to give my buildings some added depth.
Stone bricks go really well with any type of wood (except accachia in my opinion), emerald blocks as well. I find the contrast between Spruce and Birch to be quite high, I don't really see those fitting together.
