Kotaku was sent a Christmas card in which Salvador and Maya talk. http://kotaku.com/5867853/see-borderlands-2s-talking-holiday-card-in-action If we pretend that what is said is canon (a big assumption) then we can assume 1) Salvador is short because he took steroids as a kid 2) Sirens are born Sirens. 3) Salvador is gruff and tough (but this was obvious) 4) Maya is very formal and straight forward I hope that in the game the characters talk to each other like this every once and a while. Salvador's attitude is perfect. Maya's attitude, not a big fan of it. Yet.
Maya sounds kinda robotic in that voice clip... Could just be an effect of the recording method. Though her speech does sound oddly formal and rather emotionless. (Perhaps that has something to do with her powers? EX- she gets angry and causes massive static discharges from her body or transforms into a being made of pure fire?) Salvador sounds like Ben Grimm from that Fantastic Four cartoon that ended in 2007. I wonder if they'll get him to say "it's clobbering time" as a joke?
